At Weeshoff Wellness Center we frequently treat patients with hypothyroid, Hashimoto’s autoimmune thyroiditis, hyperthyroidism and those experiencing symptoms of subclinical hypothyroidism. Dr. Weeshoff uses extensive thyroid lab testing including:

TSH, Total T4, Free T4, Total T3, Free T3, Reverse T3, Microsomal TPO antibodies, Thyroglobulin antibodies, TSI antibodies, inflammatory markers, adrenal and sex hormones to evaluate patients needs. These labs are combined with patient’s symptoms, health history, physical exam and imaging to determine the treatment right for our patients.

Your treatment may include using bioidentical thyroid hormones such as porcine glandular prescriptions (Armour, NP thyroid), levothyroxine (Synthroid, Levoxyl, Tirosint, Unithroid, T4), liothyronine (Cytomel, T3), or compounded combinations of T3/T4 or porcine gland. Nutritional supplementation, as well as diet and lifestyle recommendations may be used as well. Your treatment plan is safely tailored to meet your needs and is based on what makes you feel best!
